Sprint international text charges on Samsung Moment
This is just a journal of my issues with Sprint charging international text charges when none of our contacts / texts / anything are outside of the USA.
This is a posted rough draft, that I will beautify later.
I have two lines, both sharing one plan. an exert of the bill (with personal information removed) is below.

I too have issues with AGPS. While I am skeptical of the correlation between the phone's internal location and the tower's/carrier's destination of the message, I can see no other possibility.
All of my contacts are in standard international calling format using Contacts Clean-Up (market link).
Note:
After speaking with a Sprint representative, the above international text charges have been credited to my account and an investigation case has been opened. Details to follow.
Additional: after another month, more international text charges have appeared. We've added an additional line, and it also has international charges.

Hey, I seem to have found the problem, as I was getting this same issue. Your international calling format is the problem — I had them in international calling format as well (because google automatically converted some for me, boo). If you go into the phone’s settings, under call settings you’ll see “Plus code dialing.” This converts the + to an international code. It is only supposed to do it “as needed,” but for some reason the phone converts the +’s to 011s, and then the texts get charged as international texts.
Not 100% sure on this, but either unchecking “Plus code dialing” or taking your contacts out of international format SHOULD fix the problem.
