Thought becomes broken, and conveyed opinions and thoughts are near-impossible.
I speak and type long winded, and prefer the whole story, instead of just the headline.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was a wonderful book, but I wouldn't give two shits about it if all I read was the title.

A chat room is often more active, and the indexing is difficult to navigate. Blogs aren’t worth the trouble, unless you are horribly bored and the viewers are checking the blog constantly.
