Your international calling format is the problem -- I had them in international calling format as well (because google automatically converted some for me, boo). If you go into the phone's settings, under call settings you'll see "Plus code dialing." This converts the + to an international code. It is only supposed to do it "as needed," but for some reason the phone converts the +'s to 011s, and then the texts get charged as international texts. Not 100% sure on this, but either unchecking "Plus code dialing" or taking your contacts out of international format SHOULD fix the problem.
